How Would You Use a Glass API?

One Application Programming Interface, please.

Announcements

"Can I get an API?"

We won't bury the lede here — we're far along on the first draft of a public API! It's still early days but we're excited. Any time we've gotten this question in the last two years, we've answered, "What do you want to do with it?" And nine times out of ten, the use case is solved by our Profile RSS Feeds.

But recently, someone reached out with an idea that we couldn't pass up. So we answered "Yes" and got to work on a private API endpoint for them. That's the foundation we're building from.

Working Together

Our first official integration will launch before the end of the year. But it got us thinking — what other ideas are out there if we took the next steps to making a public API? A plug-in for your favorite photo editor or website host? Printing a photo book easily?

We'll be prioritizing API feature support based on your ideas, feedback, and needs. If you've got an idea for something to build with a potential Glass API, get in touch with an email to api@glass.photo! Can't wait to hear from you.
